In May 2016, Nichole and her dog, Dori, moved into an apartment in the Baker neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Right next door lived Andy and his dog, Hunter. Nichole and Andy hit it off as fellow lovers of dogs and music. They spent the summer grilling out and camping together as friends. Then, Andy asked Nichole to go on a date to the O.A.R. concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.They spent the next seven years seeing more live music, skiing, gaming, Mullett Laking, golfing, camping, attending baseball games, going to theme parks, spending time with family and friends, and walking the dogs. Then, one warm December day, Andy whisked Nichole to Red Rocks Park so that he could surprise her on one knee at the location of their first date. He asked her to live that life with him forever.They bought a house about a mile from where Andy grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri in May of 2024. They adopted a puppy, Charlie, seven months later. In May 2026, on the 10th anniversary of their meeting, they'll say "I do" to together forever with their toes in the sand of Pensacola Beach. They hope to see you there...
